On 19 October, Almaty hosts a major concert by Yulduz Usmanova, one of the best-known and best-loved singers in Central Asia, whose work has brought together listeners of many generations.
Yulduz Usmanova has an unmistakable voice, powerful stage presence and a manner of performance all her own. Her songs have long been part of the musical culture of several generations, and her shows are always marked by their scale, their emotional force and their striking staging.
The evening offers a full concert show with live performance, favourite songs and staged numbers. A special part of the programme is the appearance of a dance ensemble, whose choreography adds another dimension and further energy to the stage.
The concert brings music, singing and dance together in one large-scale performance: the songs audiences know, expressive choreography, colourful staging and the particular energy of a live show.
This will be an evening devoted to music, to feeling and to the singer's meeting with her audience. The main stage of the Palace of the Republic becomes the space where Yulduz Usmanova's music will be heard at its fullest.
