"Respublika SHKID" Theater is a children's and youth theater with a long-standing history. Over 11 seasons, more than 50 diverse plays have been staged, five generations of actors have graced its stage, and numerous awards of various levels have been won. It is a three-time laureate of international prizes and a multiple-time winner of competitions and festivals across Central Asia.
The performances of "Respublika SHKID" are provocative in nature and tackle vital social issues, such as bullying, homeless children, historical tragedies, and the complexities of parent-child relationships. It also explores the modern challenge of artificial intelligence, which serves as the foundation for their new production, "My Friend Joel."
