Three friends — Otto, Lenz, and Robbie — run a small auto repair shop. They drink rum, participate in auto races in a car they built themselves nicknamed "Karl," and joke around a lot. Having returned from the First World War, they try to live one day at a time, without looking into the past or the future.
However, everything changes when, one March evening, they meet a girl named Patricia Hollmann...
This is a story about the lives of people in the Golden Twenties. A play about brotherhood, freedom, and love — despite everything.
